A Message from Mr. Pagano

Here comes Summer

I always thought the end of a school year was hot and cold, like this spring’s weather. I had nothing much to do during summers until I began working, and then the end of the school year couldn’t come soon enough. That was over two generations ago. But the anticipation of just being free and easy, whether true or not, has been too strong a sensation and an all too prominent ambition to avoid. Even people and institutions far removed from school or schooling have now joined hands with students and educators to celebrate the short Canadian summer.
For the most part, summer holidays now are either packed with fun and sun, or at least anticipate unique summer opportunities. Take advantage of them all.
It’s been a long year. Students and teachers, like a good conductor and an orchestra, have performed pieces beyond anyone’s expectations. Parents have supplied all the inspiration and materials required to complete the program. A big thanks to everyone involved in this collection of minds and ambitions. We are proud to have had such an important part in bringing another school year, and all that implies, to a successful conclusion.
Congratulations to all. To the graduates, we wish you all a wonderful and propitious start to your university career. To the rest, see you in September.
Best to all:
