Dear Parents,
Crestwood School’s Grades 4-6 Music Program, along with the Primary and Junior Choirs, would like to invite you to attend the Holiday Concert which will be held on Wednesday, December 13th, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. All performers are expected to arrive by 6:40p.m.
Please join us for this special event which will take place at the Toronto Centre for the Arts. You can order your tickets in advance by completing and returning to the school, the attached form, with your cheque (payable to Crestwood School) no later than Friday, December 8th. Tickets are $20 each, through the school, until December 8th and at the theatre box office after December 8th. Performers do not need tickets.
This concert is an important component of the music program, and the children have been practising hard to make this concert a success. We seek your cooperation in preparing for this event. Each child’s participation is an integral part of the group performance. We cannot stress enough the importance of having all students attend this event. If you anticipate a problem with attendance that cannot be resolved, please inform us by letter, no later than Wednesday , November 29th.
All students who are participating in the concert are required to wear the full school uniform, including a tie (grades 4,5,6),black shoes and school sweater. Girls should wear tights.
All students are required to stay for the duration of the concert. As audience members, we ask that you encourage the students’ efforts by staying for the duration, as well.
Please note that there is no videotaping or photography permitted in the theatre.
We will be travelling by bus to the theatre on the morning of Wednesday, December 13th for a rehearsal. We will also be walking to Lawrence Park Community Church, 2180 Bayview (opposite Glendon College), to rehearse, on Monday, December 11th and Tuesday, December 12th. Please complete the attached permission form.
