On Friday February 24, both Grade One classes had a visit with Scientist Fariba from Scientists in the School. Our topic of the day was “Energy Makes Things Happen”! We learned all about the effects of wind, water, and light energy and about how important fossil fuels are. We also learned about the the importance of energy and how it applies to living things. We experienced 5 amazing stations and made some incredible discoveries!! Thank you Scientist Fariba for an amazing day!
