Crestwood is Becoming at 71st Sears Drama Festival

On Monday, February 27th, Crestwood Actors traveled to St. Basil-the-Great College School to participate in the 71st Sears Drama Festival. The festival celebrates student work in theatre with student acted, directed, and in our case written theatrical work. This year we performed “Becoming”, a play by Queena Li. It is about two major themes. The first is of love, all kinds of love; the love of a public servant to their city, the love from a parent to child, the love between lovers and even the love between competitors. The other theme is of personal story, how do we become the people we are. What makes someone bad or good? What has happened to them to make them the way they are? All these questions and more were answered in a complex, beautifully acted story. Congratulations to all those involved.
