Outward Bound Canada provides programs to a variety of youth in order to cultivate resilience, leadership, connections and compassion through inspiring and challenging journeys of self-discovery in the natural world. They are excited to announce a new program this summer: Cultural Connections.
Cultural Connections aims to bring together youth from three of our youth program areas (indigenous youth, public school students, and private school students). The goal is to foster connections between the youth while exploring issues of culture, identity, and indigenous heritage. The program will combine both urban and wilderness programming and expeditionary travel. While participating in the program students will work toward a high-school credit in Interdisciplinary Studies (IDC4O/U) combining Healthy Active Living, Environment and Resource Management, and Aboriginal Voices courses.
