Grade 3A has been busy learning all about the engineering process. Did you know that a structure’s stability determines how balanced and strong its base is? We investigated this theory by creating towers of cards and designing towers of our own. We learned that all structures need a wide, deep base. Our towers of cards did not stand up for very long but our tube towers were able to both support a load and withstand the force of wind. Take a look at our wonderful structures.
