Girls Basketball battles CDS

The Crestwood Girl’s basketball team hit the hardwood for their first basketball game of the season against Country Day School. After a slow start to the game, the Crestwood Cougars battled back! – led by Maya Shapiro’s lights out shooting and the teams’ tenacious defence. U12 Softball 3-Peat

The U12 softball team put a cap on their excellent season Saturday in their final tournament at UCC. As the two time defending champions and first place team in the division the team knew they had a big target on their back as all the other teams wanted to claim the championship as their own.

Crestwood captures U12 Basketball Crown

On February 23rd, Crestwood’s U12 basketball team traveled to King City to compete in the final tournament of their season. The boys entered the playoffs as underdogs, but came out as champions defeating Crescent School in the tournament final. The U12 Basketball Team’s season comes to an end on Saturday with the final tournament hosted by Country Day School. After a long season the bballers finished with a 3rd place ranking overall. Although they will be missing key players Jack Hendry and Cole Marotta coach Conn believes we have a strong chance to contend.

One week to go…

Crestwood staff and students are extremely excited as Ski Day 2014 quickly approaches.  All Junior students please remember to bring in your Ski Form as the snowy slopes await our skiers and snowboarders. Buses will be leaving Sunnybrook Park at 7AM next Thursday en route to Beaver Valley Ski Club. Please do not be late!

The Crestwood School Hockey Team pulled off a dramatic 7-7 draw versus Country Day School on Monday afternoon. Crestwood’s Cross Country team competed in the SSAF championship finals at Sunnybrook Park on Wednesday. Our school took home 2 banners; one for Under 8 Boys and one for Under 12 Girls.
