Grade 8 Montreal Trip

Last week the grade 8 students travelled to Montreal and Quebec City for their graduation trip. On the first day they learned about constellations at the Montreal Planetarium and competed in a scavenger hunt challenge, where many students were successful! On the second day CPC ran away with the circus! Many of our grade 8 students are skilled at trapeze, tightrope walking, balancing spinning plates, and walking on stilts. After travelling to Quebec City, students enjoyed a haunted tour of Old Quebec, learning about its spooky history. The final day of activities was packed full of fun experiences! First the students hiked along the suspension bridges at Canyon Sainte-Anne, enjoying the breaktaking views. They then visited Albert Gilles Copper Art and Museum where they learnt how to make their own piece of copper art to take home. From there students had the opportunity to learn and experience a small portion of the lives of the British Soldiers at the Martello Towers. To conclude the successful trip, everyone enjoyed some bowling to celebrate! It was a busy trip, but fun was had by all!
