Making Face Shields

Crestwood Maker Creating face shields for front line worker…

Crestwood’s very own Adam Bacik (’22) answered the call when he was made aware of the lack of personal protective equipment for the front line workers at many hospitals. After consulting various hospital personnels and going through a few design iterations, he is nearing the final prototype of face shields that will be donated to hospitals in need. With the help of Crestwood’s 3D printer and his personal 3D printer, Adam’s PETG face shield design (inspired by Prusa and Erik Cederberg of 3DVerkstan) will hopefully make a difference in keeping our community’s emergency workers safe.
