Alumni News

Crestwood alumnist, Claire Charness (Class of 2011), has been chosen to represent Canada at the upcoming G(irls) 20 Summit in Mexico City. This international conference brings together one young woman from each G-20 country in a conference that runs concurrently with the full G-20 Conference. Conference delegates will discuss the same agenda as the leaders of the G-20 conference, but from the perspective of young women. They will also network to create their own social justice initiatives that they will implement in their home countries. Claire was chosen from several hundred applicants from across the country for her passion for social justice and her enthusiastic self-confidence.

When Claire was at Crestwood, she was an active participant with YAARD, the Green Team, The Crestword and was the skip of the Girls Curling team.

Way to go, Claire! Everyone at Crestwood is very proud of you!
