Dear Parents,

This is it! You have done it!  We have done it together! We have come to the end of Zoom school and the students are finally going back to school on Tuesday! We would like to congratulate all the students for showing up for school everyday and for always trying their best while on Zoom. We would like to thank the parents for supporting their children and encouraging them to persevere through this difficult time.  Lastly, a HUGE thank you to the teachers for providing their students with an outstanding education while on Zoom and for being the cheerleaders during this time. Their dedication to their profession and their ability to always give their best, despite challenging situations, will always be a valuable life lesson shown to your children that they will never forget!

Thanks again to Mr. Cooper and the House Heads for all their efforts with our Edsby activities. We look forward to seeing all the talent that comes from our talent show submissions.

On Tuesday, the Grade 6 students had an exciting virtual visit from author, Kenneth Oppel. Kenneth’s presentation on how he became a writer, his writing process, and some insider information on some of his most popular novels was extremely engaging. Most impressively, the students came prepared with excellent and insightful questions. Thank you to Ms. Bafaro and Ms. Krashinsky for organizing and facilitating such a great experience for our students.

In preparation for our return to school on Tuesday, please familiarise yourself with our Edusafe app before Tuesday and make sure that your child is cleared to come to school before you leave the house each morning. Teachers will be reviewing our COVID policies and routines with students on Tuesday. Please make sure your child has a few, properly fitting, masks with them at school, and review proper mask wearing techniques before their arrival on Tuesday.

Please make sure that you enjoy this Family Day weekend with your loved ones and cherish all the time you have together.  Here is link that might help you think of some activities you can enjoy together as a family:
