The Fourth Little Pig’s House Design Challenge in 3A

In the story of the Three Little Pigs, each pig builds a house out of different materials.  The straw and the stick houses were blown down by the wolf. The brick house stood stable and strong. In 3A, just like the three little pigs and real engineers, we built houses for a fourth little pig using different classroom materials.  First, we sorted our materials by different properties such as strength, flexibility, texture, and hardness.  Then we planned with our teams.  Finally, we set to work on our construction. Our designs were strong enough to protect the fourth little pig and withstood the force of the Big, Bad Blow-dryer.
